McDonald’s: HHOT for the Summer

McDonald’s wanted a video that would drive adoption of a new productivity tool — a handheld order taking device (HHOT)—by their franchise owners. They wanted an authentic, compelling video that would demonstrate ease of use, showcase employee and customer response, and emphasize the potential for increased sales.

During pre-production we worked extensively with McDonald’s franchise owners, managers and employees to understand their story, develop credible messages, and prep them for a natural on-camera delivery .

The video was shot on location in Baton Rouge and Tampa, which required extensive, pre-production planning to ensure streamlined, successful shoots. In addition, our crews shot the video during business hours without disrupting customer service or business as usual.

The video was very well received and high used by McDonald’s and garnered multiple industry awards for Pacific Media.
