
Synaptics needed a video for an upcoming annual investor event that would entertain and “ramp up” attendees as they gathered for the keynote launch of Synaptics latest technology breakthrough.
This was the perfect opportunity to showcase Synaptics’ quarter century of industry leadership, impressive history of innovation, and their unique market position to pilot the human-device interface industry into the future.
To work as a “looping” warm-up video as attendees gathered, audience members needed to be able to enter the narrative at any point and immediately become engaged in the story. Deborah Warner collaborated with Pacific Media to take the typical corporate timeline approach to a whole new level. The team opted for a dynamic, contemporary timeline treatment that incorporated fun and informative visuals of both corporate and cultural milestones, and then supported it with a dramatic music score and concise graphical text points.
The client was wowed. The audience was wowed. And we were wowed when “the Future is Here” won a prestigious 2013 gold Telly Award.
